Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 February 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Berviqo uses cookies and similar technologies on berviqo.com, and how we apply Google Consent Mode v2 to respect your preferences before activating any measurement or advertising.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help remember preferences, measure page usage or deliver personalised content. We also use equivalent technologies such as browser local storage.

2. Categories of cookies we use

(a) Strictly necessary: essential for basic navigation and to preserve your consent choice; they are always enabled. (b) Analytics: help us understand how the site is used in an aggregated way. (c) Marketing: allow us to measure and optimise advertising campaigns, including Google Ads. Categories (b) and (c) are only activated if you provide your consent.

3. Google Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 so that Google tags (for example Google Ads and GA4) respect your preferences at all times. Before any interaction, the parameters ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are set to "denied" by default. Only if you accept all cookies or enable the relevant categories in the preferences panel, a gtag('consent','update', ...) event is dispatched that enables the associated signals. We also apply ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough to strengthen the protection of your data.

4. How to manage your consent

On your first visit we display a banner with three options: Accept all, Reject all and Manage preferences. We store your decision in the browser's local storage together with the policy version and the date, and we apply it automatically on future visits. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies or by writing to privacidad@berviqo.com.

5. Third parties

Google services (Ads, gtag.js and, where applicable, Analytics) may install their own cookies governed by their own policies. We recommend reviewing Google's privacy notices for additional details about processing and retention periods.

6. Retention periods

Strictly necessary cookies expire when the browser is closed or after a short technical period. Analytics and marketing cookies have retention periods declared by their providers, generally between six (6) and twenty-four (24) months. You may revoke your consent at any time.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the technologies used or in the applicable regulations. The version in force will always be published on this page with its update date.
